It was built in 1907 by the TMER&L railroad. It lost its depot status in 1941 when the line was abandoned. The building remains today, used by an architects’ firm and has been modified somewhat. The dedication of the "new" Zachow C&NW depot in Shawano took place on Saturday July 13, 2013. It was a feature scale replica of the town of Zachow circa 1949.
